Refund policy
At Afterpace, every product is made to order through our production partners. We want every order to reach you exactly as expected. If something isn’t right, please contact us at hello@afterpace.fr.
Returns & Right of Withdrawal
Where applicable under consumer law, you may exercise your statutory right of withdrawal within the legally required period after receiving your order.
For customers in the European Union, this period is generally 14 days from the date you, or a third party designated by you, receive the goods.
After notifying us of your decision to withdraw, you must return the relevant item(s) without undue delay and no later than 14 days after communicating your decision to withdraw.
We do not offer any additional commercial return period beyond your statutory rights.
To initiate a return, please contact hello@afterpace.fr with your order number and the item(s) concerned. We will provide the appropriate return instructions and, where necessary, a return address.
Please do not send products back to the address shown on the original shipping package or label without contacting us first.
Return Conditions
Returned items should be unworn, unused and unwashed and, where reasonably possible, returned with their original packaging and any tags.
You are responsible for handling the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Where permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for this purpose.
Return Shipping Costs
When exercising a right of withdrawal or returning an item because you have changed your mind, the direct cost of returning the product is your responsibility, where permitted by applicable law.
Afterpace does not provide free return shipping unless required by applicable law or where the return results from a defective, damaged or incorrect product for which Afterpace is responsible.
Refunds
Where a refund is due following the valid exercise of a statutory right of withdrawal, Afterpace will reimburse the amounts required by applicable law without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
For sales of goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided sufficient evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise and provided that this does not result in additional fees.
For eligible withdrawals, standard outbound delivery charges will be refunded as required by applicable law. Any additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by Afterpace will not be refunded.
Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, misprinted or different from what you ordered, please contact us at hello@afterpace.fr as soon as possible.
Please provide your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs showing the problem where reasonably necessary for us to assess your claim.
Once the issue has been confirmed, Afterpace will provide the remedy required under applicable consumer law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Please do not return a defective or incorrect product unless we ask you to do so. In some cases, a physical return may not be necessary.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any statutory rights or legal guarantees that cannot legally be excluded.
Exchanges
Afterpace does not offer direct exchanges for changes of size, colour or preference.
Where you are entitled to return an item, you may follow the applicable return procedure and place a separate order for the desired product.
Order Cancellations and Changes
Because Afterpace products are made to order, production may begin shortly after an order is placed.
If you wish to cancel or modify an order, contact us at hello@afterpace.fr as soon as possible.
Where production has not yet started and the order can still be cancelled, we will endeavour to process the cancellation.
Once production has started, we cannot guarantee that an order can be modified or cancelled. This does not affect any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights that may apply to your purchase.
Incorrect Address and Unclaimed Orders
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.
If an order cannot be delivered because the customer provided an incorrect or incomplete address, failed to collect the parcel, or otherwise caused the delivery to fail, Afterpace does not provide an automatic free replacement or reshipment.
Where permitted by applicable law, any additional shipping costs resulting from such circumstances may be charged to the customer.
Refused Parcels
Refusing delivery or failing to pay applicable import charges does not, by itself, constitute a valid exercise of a statutory right of withdrawal where applicable.
If you wish to exercise a right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform Afterpace of your decision in accordance with applicable law.
Any refund following a refused or returned parcel will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law and this policy.
Customs & Import Charges
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless expressly stated as included or collected at checkout, such charges are not included in Afterpace product prices or shipping charges and are the responsibility of the recipient, where permitted by applicable law.
Sale & Promotional Items
Products purchased during a sale or using a promotional code are subject to the same statutory consumer rights required by applicable law. Afterpace does not provide an additional commercial return right for discounted products.
